Classic RSO Brownies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of butter (half a stick)
  • 500 mg RSO or Distillate Syringe
  • 1 box of brownie mix for an 8×8 or 9×9 pan (any brand)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup of water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees F
  2. In a small saucepan, melt 1/4 cup of butter
  3. Once melted, add in the desired amount of RSO or distillate
  4. Mix butter and oil thoroughly over low heat
  5. Remove the butter from heat and let cool for a few minutes
  6. While the butter is cooling, put the box of brownie mix, egg, and 1/4 cup of water together in a bowl
  7. Add in the melted butter mixture and combine thoroughly
  8. Once mixed, grease an 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish with cooking spray
  9. Pour the brownie batter in and spread evenly
  10. Place the brownies in the oven at 220 degrees F for 60-75 minutes, or until cooked through
  11. Let cool, cut into squares, and enjoy!

Dosing Guide

To calculate dosing, take a look at the packaging of your distillate or RSO syringe/dropper to see how many total milligrams are in the syringe. Add the amount of the syringe based on your desired dosing (this recipe recommends 500 mg, but you can use less if desired). Then this formula to calculate the approximate amount of THC in each brownie:

#mg total THC per syringe / amount of syringe added = total #mg in brownie pan

total #mg in brownie pan / # of brownie squares approximate #mg of THC per brownie square

Tips & Tricks

  • Before adding the RSO or distillate to the melted butter, run the syringe under hot water or use a blow dryer to make the oil easier to dispense
  • Cook the brownies at low heat for a longer period of time to best preserve the cannabinoid and terpene content
