Chocolate Cannabis Coins Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/3 cups of the chocolate chips of your choice
  • 100mg (or desired amount) of RSO of your choice
  • 2 mini muffin tins
  • Edible or “non-toxic” gold powder (aka luster dust) for baking and decorating
  • Clean, food safe paint brush

Find your local Ethos Dispensary to get your favorite RSO or distillate cannabis oil

Instructions

  1. Place the chocolate chips in a bowl and microwave the chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring after 30 seconds, until the chips are melted and smooth.
  2. Using the RSO syringe, measure and gently squeeze out 100mg of RSO and mix thoroughly into the melted chocolate.
  3. Evenly distribute 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons of the infused chocolate into the muffin tins (24 total if each tin makes 12). Thinner = Better!
  4. Bang the muffin tins against the counter a few times to level out the chocolate.
  5. Refrigerate the pans for about 20 minutes to set the chocolate
  6. Invert the muffin tins over a clean surface, either flexing the pan or gently tapping it to release the coins.
  7. Use a food-safe brush and brush gold dust over the surface of the coins.
  8. Eat & Enjoy!

Dosing Guide

This recipe makes about 24 coins

To calculate dosing, use this formula:

#mg THC/CBD (measured from RSO syringe) added / # of coins = #mg THC/CBD per coin

Tips & Tricks

  • When placing melted chocolate in muffin molds, a generous dollop from a regular spoon will equal about 1.5-2 tsp.
  • If some of the chocolate coins stick in the pan, sharply knock on the bottom of the tin with your fist to dislodge.
  • The gold dust/luster and water do not mix. Dry brushing is the way to go!
  • This recipe uses Super Gold dust by CK Products, which is non-toxic and safe for consumption.
