Local Mixed Media artist – come check out her work at Ethos Montgomeryville on display all month long!
About the Artist… Meg Pearson is a Shift Lead at Ethos Montgomeryville. When not working, she is parenting her 10 year old daughter who is a student at “X-Press Yourself Creative and Performance Art Center” in Philadelphia. Through that relationship, Meg became the visual arts/prop director at the studio. Being able to participate in productions through art has been one of her greatest joys. During the 2019-20 dance year, Meg proudly started her “With Your Eyes Closed” art program geared towards students aged 8-17, to begin the conversation about feelings. Through art, Meg makes her best attempt to give her students a safe space to share their stories, get support from their peers and our staff and find positive ways to begin dealing with life situations.* She hopes to continue telling stories through art for as long as she can.
*This program is not a licensed therapy program. It provides a safe space for kids and teens to be comfortable with their emotions.
